Early Bird Offer to launch entries for GSR 2019!
On Sunday 28 July, cyclists are invited to join The Great Shakespeare Ride 2019!
To celebrate the launch of event entries, The Shakespeare Hospice is offering a special ‘Early Bird’ offer with £5 off every ride entered during February.
The feedback from riders who took part in the 2018 event, was again overwhelmingly positive. Despite the wet weather on the day, the Hospice raised a fantastic sum of over £23,000.
With challenging routes through beautiful Warwickshire and Cotswolds countryside, riders will have three distance options; a Friendly 50 km, a 100 km Challenge and a 100 mile sportive. Entries made throughout February will start at £30 (for the 50km ride) as part of the Early Bird promotion.
All the money raised will fund vital services and help support families affected by life limiting illness across South Warwickshire and the North Cotswolds.
The epic Hill Climb Challenge will be back for the 100 mile and 100km races as well as the four rider Team Challenge (also just applicable to our 100 mile and 100km events) which will also be returning for 2019 to offer a more competitive element with trophies for each member of the fastest team. Last year the two teams that won were from Shipston Cycling Club and The Cycle Studio.
